Magical Thinking

Hello its me Matt again, Imani is going to start posting again, but for now I have another book to recommend and it’s by Augustan Burroughs. This memoir is called Magical Thinking, where Burroughs writes about true stories in his life in which he demonstrates the psychological term, "magical thinking" which describes the belief that one exerts more influence over events than one actually does. Burroughs writes hilarious stories that showcase Burroughs's sharp, funny and brilliant writing. If anyone loves authors David Sedaris and David Rakoff I recommend reading Burroughs, though Burroughs has a much darker and X-rated view of things, and that I recommend this book only to mature readers. I again recommend that people read Magical thinking as it is truly hilarious and is an excellent memoir, and is always good for a laugh.
